A quotation & pricing platform for a high-end surfaces brand

Casa Europa Inc sells high-end surfaces, and a single quote can run into the tens of millions of pesos. We replaced spreadsheet quoting with a platform where the numbers are right and the quote looks worthy of the brand.

Custom softwareQuotation & pricingApproval workflow

Casa Europa Inc (which represents Porcelanosa in the Philippines) sits at the luxury end of surfaces and interiors, where a single quote can run into the tens of millions of pesos for a developer or a landmark project. At that level a pricing slip isn't a rounding error — it's margin and brand reputation on the line. Their team kept the numbers right the hard way, with careful, repeated checks on every spreadsheet. We built a quotation and pricing platform where quotes are correct by construction — so that precision is built in instead of hand-policed, every price traces to an approved source, and the document that reaches the client looks the part.

The challenge

Casa Europa Inc doesn't sell commodity tiles; it sells high-end surfaces, often for large developments and landmark projects. A single quote can reach tens of millions of pesos, so getting it right isn't just arithmetic: a wrong price, or a document that looks careless, costs real margin and chips at a premium brand.

Every quote was assembled in a spreadsheet, and the team held it to a demanding standard: surface areas rounded up to full boxes, the right grout and adhesive per product, VAT and discounts per quote, then a chain of approvals. Keeping all of that correct took real discipline — in any spreadsheet one wrong cell quietly becomes a wrong number on a multi-million-peso proposal, and the only safeguard is to check, and check again.

Prices move through pricing memos, and a rep needs to know which price applies — the standard one or a deliberate override — and what it was before. A spreadsheet can hold all of that, but it can't enforce it: no built-in source of truth, no history, and no controlled way to sign off the big-ticket discounts that matter most, so it falls to people to remember and re-verify.

Our approach

We built a quotation builder that's correct by construction: enter a surface and it rounds up to boxes; a computation engine maps each product to its recommended grout and adhesive and adds the lines; VAT and discounts are set per quote. On a proposal worth millions, the maths is guaranteed — the team no longer has to police every cell by hand.

Pricing runs on memos as the single source of truth: every line shows where its price came from — standard or override — with full history, and approvals gate the discounts and revisions that carry weight, so control scales with the size of the deal.

And the quote itself looks the part: a clean, branded PDF worthy of a premium name, generated in the flow instead of hand-formatted. Reps assemble a polished, accurate proposal in minutes, not hours.

Results

Minutes, not hours

reps assemble accurate, multi-million-peso quotes without wrestling a spreadsheet

Correct by construction

allowances, grout and adhesive, VAT and discounts are computed, not hand-typed

On-brand & controlled

clean, branded quote documents, with every price traceable to an approved source

With Excel we're always going back — clean this up, clean that up, why are the lines different? This platform produces something clean, and honestly, it's so nice and neat.
